Delphi is a touchscreen art gallery installation about the ancient Greek oracle site of Delphi.
I began work on this electronic art project in 2016 and completed it in 2020, previewing it in Cincinnati for a small audience.
Delphi is designed for gallery exhibition in museums and cultural centers, it uses a custom touchscreen and video projection.

This is the Castilian Spring at Delphi, site of one of the world's most ancient oracles.         .

This map of the virtual environment of Delphi appears for the players at the beginning of play.

Delphi uses a touchscreen, and viewers can just touch the screen to move in the virtual world.

This view shows Delphi, interpretively reconstructed from topographical maps and archaeological plans for this art work.

Here is an artistic representation of a visit to one of the temples, with the Great Mother seated in apotheosis.

There are three sites in Delphi where one can meet the oracle and receive a genuine Delphic Maxim.
Visitors can explore Delphi and its surroundings, and visit the oracle if they choose to do so.

The purpose of the Delphi art installation is to examine our relationship as individuals within our communities.
In Delphi you may recognize yourself and the truth of your existence as an individual in this, our world of other people.

Here is a Youtube video tour of the project, a demo video to show you what the installation is like...

Here is a link to a Google Drive folder with all the info you need to learn about the Delphi project, including the game itself!
